Deepak Lakshmipathy

Hi my name is Deepak Lakshmipathy and I’m currently a 3rd year med student at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. I’ve been involved with Avicenna since starting school in 2020, and after helping the clinic during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic and serving in various roles, Avicenna has been one of the things I look forward to most. I take a lot of joy in helping underserved patients get the medications they need and hope to continue to make healthcare more accessible for all.

Ruchira Rao

Ruchira is originally from the Bay Area, California and is now in her final year at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, studying Community Health. After graduating, she plans on pursuing medical school. Ruchira began as a Pharmacy volunteer at Avicenna in the spring of 2020 and is now part of the Pharmacy Leadership Team.

Arman Sandhu

Hi! My name is Arman Sandhu and I am a fourth year student at UIUC in Molecular and Cellular Biology. I have been involved with Avicenna in the pharmacy department since 2020 and have recently moved into a leadership position. I plan on applying to medical school this upcoming summer.
