Athena goes Live! September 18th is our first clinic day on the new electronic medical record program. This is what everyone has waited and hoped for during the last 2 years. I am sure the day will be difficult as we all struggle to get use to the new procedures for scheduling and charting. However, it will raise our clinic to a new level of excellence. Medication orders and lab orders will be put into Athena by the providers and will be sent to the pharmacy of choice and Quest labs automatically! No more papers! This, along with many other miracles, are yet to be realized.
