Avicenna will be in the community tent at the Champaign Farmers' Market this Tuesday (7/26) from 4pm - 7pm. The Land Connection is promoting that particular market with a contest as well as announcing it on the radio. They are also helping us hold a food drive and will be handing out Land Connection mugs in exchange for donations. The market people are really excited about doing the food drive as it benefits their vendors and we can get some publicity and a free spot in their community tent in return. All food donations we will not be able to give to patients during clinic hours will be delivered to the Daily Bread Soup Kitchen.
