Note: Avicenna Community Health Center has a pending 501(c)(3) organization.

The Goal

To be a financially and logistically viable option for the Champaign-Urbana community by July 2010. To become FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) - a distinction which provides us access to federal financial resources) by 2011. To see 5,000 patients during the 2010 year. To accomplish these goals we are seeking to raise 100,000 dollars for clinical operations by the end of 2010.

The Status

We began our fundraising efforts in earnest in late November. We need your help to keep the momentum going. We began a new phase of our mission in our 'Dental Circle' clinic on January 23rd, and you can help us support this effort.

The Plea

A community cannot rest while its members are suffering. Members of the Champaign-Urbana community do not have affordable access to healthcare. They de pend on resources such as the Avicenna Community Health Center for their own well-being and the well-being of their children. Please consider it your responsibility to help these families in need. Please consider making a donation to the Avicenna Community Health Center, and support us in helping those in need.
